Abstract Competition
Theme: Unlocking the New Era of Neuroscience
This theme encourages the abstract to demonstrate scientific innovation, clinical excellence, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the application of emerging technologies to improve neurological care.
The Scientific Committee of the Siloam Neuroscience Summit 2026 welcomes the submission of original scientific work related to neuroscience. Abstracts may be submitted under one of the following categories:
- Original Research
- Case Report
- Systematic Review / Meta-analysis
Please note that both the abstract and the poster file must be uploaded at the time of submission. Only registered participants are eligible to submit abstracts.
Awards
A total prize pool of IDR 16,000,000 will be awarded to the top 3 outstanding presentations during the Siloam Neuroscience Summit 2026.
Oral Presentation Awards
Awards will be presented to the Top Three (3) Oral Presentations in each category:
- Case Report
- 1st Place : 3,500,000
- 2nd Place : 2.500,000
- 3rd Place : 1,500,000
- Original Research / Systematic Review / Meta-analysis
- 1st Place : 3,500,000
- 2nd Place : 2,500,000
- 3rd Place : 1,500,000
Poster Awards
Awards will also be presented to the Top Three (3) Favorite Posters, selected from all accepted poster presentations. @350rb
Judging
All submissions will be evaluated by an independent panel of experts in the relevant field of neuroscience based on scientific quality, originality, clinical relevance, methodology, presentation quality, and discussion. The judges' decisions are
final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals regarding the results will be entertained.

General Requirements
- All abstracts must be written in English.
- Abstracts must be submitted through the official Siloam Neuroscience Summit 2026
- Submission deadline: 18 August 2026, 23:59 WIB (UTC+7).
- Each registered participant may submit a maximum of two abstracts.
- Participants must complete registration before submitting an abstract.
- Once submitted, abstracts cannot be revised or modified.
- Submitted work must be original, unpublished, and not previously presented or submitted to any other scientific meeting or competition.
- Failure to comply with any submission requirement may result in disqualification of the abstract.

Ethical Requirements
Original Research
Authors must confirm that the study received approval from an appropriate ethics committee or was conducted in accordance with applicable ethical regulations by checking the designated declaration during submission.
Case Reports
Authors must obtain written informed consent from the patient or the patient's legal guardian. No identifying patient information should be included in the abstract or poster.
Title Requirements
- Maximum 20 words
- Capitalize the first letter of each major word (Title Case)
- Clearly reflect the content of the study
- Avoid abbreviations whenever possible
Keywords
- Maximum of five (5) keywords
- Keywords should accurately represent the study and facilitate indexing
Poster Submission Guidelines
- Language: English
- Orientation: Portrait
- File format: PDF or JPG
- Minimum resolution: 1080 × 1920 pixels
- Recommended resolution: 2160 × 3840 pixels
- Maximum file size: 3 MB
- File name format: PresenterName_Institution_ShortTitle
Poster content should follow the same structure as the submitted abstract according to its category.
Authors are encouraged to include references in the form of a QR code to maximize poster readability.
The presenting author's name must be bold and underlined.
Oral Presentation Guidelines
- Language: English
- File format: PPT or PPTX
- Maximum number of slides: 10
- Presentation time: 7 minutes
- Question & Answer: 2 minutes
Abstracts will be categorized according to their scientific topics and evaluated by experts in the relevant fields to ensure a fair review process.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Siloam Neuroscience Summit 2026 Abstract Book.
Notification of acceptance will be sent via the registered email address and announced through the official Instagram account: @siloamneurosummit
The Top Five Abstracts in each category will be selected for oral presentation:
- Case Report: 5 abstracts
- Original Research / Systematic Review / Meta-analysis: 5 abstracts
Selected presenters will be notified via email in early September 2026.
Authors selected for oral presentations will be required to prepare a manuscript for submission to the Lumina Indonesian Journal of Neurology.
Finalists and Publication Requirements
- Top five abstracts in each category will be selected as finalists.
- All finalists are required to submit a full manuscript in accordance with the LUMINA Author Guidelines by the specified deadline: https://bit.ly/AuthorGuidelineLUMINA.
- Finalists must also submit a signed Declaration Form confirming that they:
- Agree to have their manuscript reviewed by the LUMINA Editorial Team;
- Are willing to revise the manuscript if requested by the editors or reviewers; and
- Consent to the publication of their manuscript in LUMINA should they be selected as winners.
- Winning manuscripts will proceed to the ethical review process (ethical clearance), if applicable, as part of the publication requirements.
